Darren Tobin put Imokilly back into the lead and when Michael Cronin added a goal Imokilly took control. Limerick score again but Tom Wallis had the last say with a point before the short whistle.

Game 2
Imokilly 0-7 Seandun 0-7
What a hard game of hurling between two even sides. points from Russell and Feeney were Imokilly’s scores at the short whistle to Seandun’s 0-3. Our backs were the heroes with Thomas Hogan, Kevin Tattan and Kevin Rohan leading the way. Michael Russell also made waves in the centre of the park as Did Alan Cott. Up front Tobin slotted two points and Feeney got the last to draw the game honors equal

Game 3
Imokilly 7-13 Kerry 0-2
With Imokilly needing to win by a big score they set about it and how they did a hat trick from Andrew McSweeney, goals from Russell, Feeney and Tobin (2) and that was that.

semi final Championship Easter Mon v Avondhu

East Waterford 1-2 Imokilly 1-9

Imokilly turned on the style to win this quarter final tie in Walsh Park on Sat last 30th Mar
Imokilly were hit before the start as Jack Sheehan had to cry off. He was replaced by Barry Hayes and what a game he had. Both sets of backs had the upper hand for the first ten minutes. With Daniel Moynihan commanding at centre back. The game turned on the tenth minute when full back Joe Cashman made a might clearance which Cian Dorgan gave to Paul Haughney who found Brian Hartnett who buried it.
East Waterford hit back with a point, but with half backs Anthony Cronin and Aidan O’Sullivan on top Imokilly pressed for home but scores were hard to come by. Anthony Smart pointed on the 23rd minute to stretch Imokilly’s lead. The Waterford boys hit back with a minor before Eoin O’Sullivan finished the half with a converted free.
Imokilly resumed with another Eoin O’Sullivan point followed by one from Paul Haughney. Then on the 34th minute Waterford got in for a major to rock Imokilly. Now Imokilly struggled but the now dominant half back line was well on top. Yet scores were still hard to come by. Indeed Imokilly were to score only four more points (all from frees Haughney 0-2, Anthony Cronin 0-2) before the long whistle.
Full due to this Waterford side they never gave up and with about ten minutes left goalie Edmund Ahern had to make a great save to keep his line intact. Imokillys half forward line of Alan Busteed, Eoin Healy and Tomas Crowley had the Waterford boys in trouble.

next up are Avondhu on Easter mon at 12-00
